Conan Filming in Bulgaria has Wrapped Up

Guys,

We wrapped filming in Bulgaria on Saturday, some pick up shots are left and some still photography but the movie is now officially moving into post-production. It's really exciting.

Photos of Jason Momoa as Conan

Jason Momoa seems to be turning the corner and becoming a more acceptable looking Conan the Cimmerian than I previously thought possible.  While I enjoyed his character of Ronon Dex on Stargate Atlantis, I had trouble seeing him as Conan.  Why?  I felt that he was too skinny, to lanky, he just didn't have enough beef.

Conan Filming Has Begun In Bulgaria

Beverly Hills, CA (March 15, 2010) – Today saw the start of principal photography for the new Conan movie, directed by Marcus Nispel, and featuring Jason Momoa (Stargate Atlantis) in the title role. The three-month production takes place at Nu Boyana Studios in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Rose McGowan career as an actor sincerely began in 1995, with a leading role in The Doom Generation (1995). Originally intended for Jordan Ladd, the character of "Amy Blue" was awarded to McGowan, whose presence outside a gym captured the eye of an associate of director Gregg Araki. For her performance, she was nominated at the 1995 Independant Spirit Awards for Best Debut Performance. Subsequently cast in Wes Craven's Scream (1996/I), she experienced further success when the project defied expectations to became one of the highest grossing films of the year.

Nonso Anozie was awarded the Ian Charleson Award in 2005 for his performance as William Shakespeare's "Othello" in an production by Cheek by Jowl theatre company. Graduated from Central School of Speech and Drama, London in 2002. He was the winner of the 2004 Magnolia Stage Performance Award in China and was the first non-Chinese to be honoured with the prize of best actor. In the summer of 2002 he became the youngest person in history to play William Shakespeare's "King Lear" professionally.
