CONAN Gets 300 F/X Guys
Comics2Film at Mania.com has learned that the production is crewing up in the makeup and F/X department. To that end, Shaun Smith and Scott Wheeler, both alumni of the Zack Snyder's 2006 sword, sandals (and a tiny bit o' sorcery) epic '300'.
Smith is acting as creature designer on 'Conan', while Wheeler is heading up the makeup department. The pair are currently working up the creature schemes for the pic with director Marcus Nispel (of 'Friday the 13th' fame). Smith confirmed the news for us adding, "as you might expect I really can't say much except it looks really cool and we are excited to be a part of it."
